
The British Medical Acupuncture Society is a nationwide group of doctors, both in hospital and family medicine, who practise acupuncture alongside more conventional techniques. The society believes that acupuncture has an important role to play in modern health care and is dedicated to providing training and continuing education to doctors in the technique through basic, post-basic and regional courses as well as regular scientific meetings.
The society produces the journal Acupuncture in Medicine which is produced twice yearly publishing original research as well as reviews on the place of acupuncture in medicine.
